Eric Schroeder, Owner/Designer/Fabricator of Tribal Iron
Choppers in Fair Lawn,
NJ has been a gear head since the age of 9. It started when his father took him for
a ride in a 1971 Chevy Chevelle with a big block LS6 motor. The rush of adrenaline sealed this little boy's fate to a lifetime of searching for the perfect ride.
By age 12, Eric (more
affectionately known as "E") had a business fixing and restoring mini bikes, go-karts and BMX bikes. By age 15, E took his Great Grandfather's 1966 Shoebox
Nova and repowerplanted it with all race car parts. E then decided to further
his design skills by taking 4 years of Art & Design. Shortly after "E"
started working as a mechanic and achieved his full ASE Master Certification and
became an instructor and diagnostician for other repair shops as well.
Today E creates all types of metal
sculptures, custom signs and displays, redesigns bars and restaurants with
themes and designs, and fabricates all the fixtures and artwork himself. He also designs
and builds custom corporate theme bikes as well as everyday rides for the
working man, and does full performance and restorations on Hot Rods.
Tribal Iron Choppers
is now an International Company and a World Licensed Manufacturer building and
shipping bikes to England, France, Italy, Jordan & Iraq, with a full line of
its own motorcycles and a full parts & apparel line sold at franchised
dealers across the globe.
2012 will mark 20
years E has been in business! 20 blissful years of working on, restoring,
customizing & building Choppers, Hot Rods, Trucks &
Boats. The rest is history & the future!
